Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. I co-host this linky with Jenna (Tiny Footsteps) so please do remember to go over to her post and say hi! We want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciate the little things in life and have happy days.
I really loved Kat’s 50 Things That Make Me Happy post, I have now been tagged and so will be writing my own post in the near future! I especially loved that she loves wearing odd socks! That is so me! 🙂
Over to our week…
Out & About
Well we didn’t end up going to the zoo, the weather has been craaazy hasn’t it? The wind has kept me awake most nights! Anyway, it has meant that being outdoors has been a no no. Plus both girls still aren’t right. I am not sure what to do with them, they aren’t ill enough for the doctors but not right, you know? Just plenty of Calpol needed.
We did manage a little trip to Hobbycraft to get some Hama bead boards and also to Dunelm Mill to get some cute table cloths for our IKEA table (I think I have mentioned that table in the last 3 Happy Days posts haha!)
Fun at Home
Anyone mention an IKEA table?? Yes you guessed it, Little G and I had the loveliest afternoon sitting together making Hama bead designs. It was so nice having quality time together after I felt so awful about last week’s misspent time.
We also made some delicious chocolate brownies together. Little L spent most of the time licking the spoon (yum!) but she really enjoyed being included.
Time for Me
I have not really had any, besides blogging. Mr F has been working so late and so I have not been able to go for a run which I am gutted about. I have been doing so well with that and really love it but have fallen right off track now. It is going to be like starting all over again when I start up again!
My Happiest Moment
Oh this is easy! I got a new theme for my blog. For the longest time I have wanted the home page to display posts side by side and I finally found the perfect match! You won’t notice too much of a difference unless you go to ‘home’.
Next week I would like to…
I want to see the back of these germs. I am so tired of hearing the girls cough and I am really getting fed up of being deaf! Hopefully the sunshine will return!

What yummy looking brownies. I love baking and may be using your recipe very soon. :-) And the Hama beads - what a good idea. I remember making pictures from them when I was younger. My favourite ones were glow in the dark beads and I made a moon and some stars and hung them with wool from my window so that at night I could see them. Fingers crossed that you all feel 100% next week. Rebecca x
