My two love wellies, I think they would wear them day in, day out if they could – I think it is because they are so easy to put on and mean they can jump in muddy puddles!
We were challenged to design a pair of wellies as part of the new Bratz campaign, celebrating the release of their new Bratz Festival Vibes collection. We were sent a doll, Raya, as well as everything we needed to turn a plain pair of wellies into some snazzy boots to wear to a festival.
The girls love anything crafty so took a boot each and set to work with glue, stickers and of course some glitter!
Something I like about the Bratz range in general is the attention to detail. This little bracelet is actually a part of the packaging but clips off to become a festival style band. Now G has one to match all of daddy’s Glasto bands that he’s collected over the years.
Raya kept watch – don’t you just love her shoes? She comes with a change of clothes and I will share a pic of the other dress asap as it is beautiful- so retro! She also comes with lots of cool accessories, including the bag you see here – I want one!!
These are the finished wellies, bit snazzy aren’t they? If you’ve been watching the news you’ll know people will be needing wellies at Glasto this year! I want to take the girls one day, but not until they are a bit older. We are really lucky as our town has a yearly festival, nothing too big but enough to get the feel and it is perfect for families with young kids.
