Happy Days: Support, Snapchat and Scrummy Scones

Welcome to HappyDays! The idea of this linky is to inspire others to make the best out of every day, to see the happy in the little things. As no matter what, there is always something good in every single day- we just need to take the time to see it. Share your happy posts, Sian and I love to read them!

I’m going to be honest, I am writing this is such a foul mood. I’ve been feeling numb all day after finding out the results of the vote. I am scared for the future, scared for what it will mean for my family and future generations. But, I am not going to dwell on those feelings, instead reaching back through the week to find the positives.

So what things have made me smile?

– Mums at school rallying around me after spotting this post I’d shared on my FB page. I cried each time they were nice to me – far too emotional right now.

– Watching Mr F and the girls bouncing on the trampoline …. in the rain. Yep, he is crazy.

– Having one of LJ’s friends around to play, they are just so cute together and have known each other since the day they were born and are like two peas in a pod.

– Snapchat. Some of the filters on there have me and the girls in stitches. Even if you don’t want to use it for the purpose of chatting etc it is worth getting it just so you can take funny photos! Here is my profile if you want to follow me and see what we get up to day to day.

– National Scone Day – did you celebrate? It was yesterday and we went round to a friend’s house to stuff our faces. Yum!!

– My new Kindle. Yep, I’ve entered the world of technology people. I’ve downloaded a ‘book’ and so far I am enjoying it.

– Finding out a friend is pregnant – might have cried just a little bit. Haha!!

So that is my week of happiness. I am going to put the EU results behind me for now because as you are reading this I am on my way to London for Britmums Live. I will be meeting up with some blogging friends, including Sian, and cannot wait!!

If you are a blogger and aren’t going then follow #LLBdoesBML16 on Twitter for updates and follow @Livelove_blog on IG to see lots of selfies with other bloggers and behind the scenes photos throughout the day. 🙂
