I am so so late with this update- so much so that our November box is arriving today!! Argh!!
I have to say I was a little disappointed by this Degustabox, it seemed a little too healthy for my liking. I like the ones with yummy snacks! I was very grateful for the passata though and loved that it came in a bottle with a lid, so often I forget to use half a pack and it goes off in the fridge.
So what did we get in the box?
Appy Drinks: The girls grabbed these as soon as they saw them as they had SpongeBob Squarepants on the packaging. They are cute little juice drinks and perfect for picnics. They contain 50% less sugar than other brands too which is great.
Lorina: A very nice lemonade that uses only natural ingredients- was a nice fresh drink for an evening.
The Snack Organisation- Freeze Dried Fruit: Ahh freeze dried fruit, a real favourite in this house and all from trialling various brands through Degustabox over the last few months. These are a great gluten free snack for LJ.
The Snack Organisation- Rice Crackers: These were a little spicy and we all had to have a drink of milk afterwards!
9Bar: I am not a huge fan of healthy snack bars and so didn’t try these. They are full of energy boosting ingredients though so would be perfect for gym-goers!
Cirio: I really liked the tomato passata and the chopped tomatoes and used them to make a delicious spaghetti bolognese.
Liberation Foods: Mr F loves nuts and enjoyed eating these. I am not a fan so didn’t try them.
Provena: It is always such a struggle to find gluten free breakfast ideas for LJ so having a muesli was great.
Kabuto: This caused much amusement as the instructions on the back had statements like ‘allow to stand for 3-4 mins, why not use this time to practice meditation or karate’. Mr F thought this was so funny and brightened up his day while at work. Being told he would ‘bring shame on his family’ if he allowed it to go cold made him laugh out loud.
Chip Strips: A little like Disco crisps which I love, they would make a great snack at a party.
President: This came in the form of a voucher for their butter and I am yet to use it as we cannot have butter in this house due to allergies.
I am really excited for today’s delivery as it is the Christmas edition! I will try and get it up as soon as possible so you can see what we get!
