Photo Diary: Mummy Daughter Time

I have not always been a girlie girl, I think I finally found my feminine side when I went to university. Before then I was a real tomboy – always in, quite frankly, hideous clothes. Having girls has brought my girlie side out even more- I have found a real love of pink for a start! I don’t think I had ever liked pink before, but now I embrace it whole-heartedly – even choosing it for my header!

The other day the girls were having a bath together and I thought it would be fun to have a bit of a pampering session. To let them sit down at my dressing table, to have their hair done and to paint their nails (something Little G is always asking for). Life goes far to quickly most of the time so it was nice to enjoy a moment with the two of them. You will get a sneak peek of my new bedroom too, there are a couple of things left to finish but I will have the photos done by the end of the month so you can see the full makeover.

We were recently sent a Cuddle Twist, something that Little G absolutely adores as it means she looks just like mummy. Her hair is so long now so it is perfect for keeping it off her shoulders, stopping her from catching a chill. I have been using something similar for years now and so I knew when I saw it that it would be great for kids. Obviously LJ doesn’t need one yet but once her hair finally grows I will be getting one for her too- maybe in time for next Christmas!
