If you saw my 10×10 challenge a while back, you’ll know I am trying to reduce the amount I wear, simply by switching up different pieces to create more outfits.
It is quite easy to style a pair of jeans 5 ways with different tops etc… but I thought I would set myself the challenge of styling a dress. Turning something that you may only wear once in a while, into a versatile piece that can suit different occasions.
The dress itself is from Joe Browns, a brand that I have been loving for quite a while now. It is part of their 20th Anniversary Collection, celebrating 20 years in true Joe Browns style!
Look 1: Shopping trip

Teaming it up with a cardi, knee highs and a tote gives it a casual look.
Look 2: Lunch with friends

Black boots, leather jacket and a shoulder bag changes the look completely and would be perfect for a lunch with the girls.
Outfit 3: School run

I love dressing down an outfit with pumps and throwing a jumper over the top just gives it a relaxed feel – perfect for mum duty!
Outfit 4: Dinner date

Come the evening, your time is your own and it is time to dress up! Add heels, a clutch and my favourite personal fave, a blazer, and you are good to go!
Outfit 5: Summer wedding

I love that the colours in the dress lend themselves to a variety of accessories! Adding in peaches and creams gives a summer vibe and would be perfect for a wedding!
This time last year I would have probably worn outfit number 2 and only a handful of times. But now, I can see that by switching up accessories you can create totally different looks around one key piece!
Which was your favourite?

I was gifted the dress in return for this feature. All words and thoughts are my own.
