HappyDays Linky #17

So last week I was off on my jollibobs and it took me a couple of days to get around to reading all of your posts. I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who joins in, reading about your days always makes me smile. Last week i chose Becky’s blog and she commented that she is never sure whether her weeks are worth reading about- of course they are worth reading!! I love reading about every single one of your families and the things you get up to. They are the source of my inspiration xx

I know this is probably breaking some linky code or something but I don’t care as I am joint owner of the linky haha! Anyway my favourite post last week belonged to Jenna! From the moment she called me her bloggy BFF to saying I was going to have a post full of Bluestone spam (which I did! #sorrynotsorry) to her mummy manicure- she had me smiling til my cheeks hurt!

So a much more chilled week this week- full of illness actually so that is karma after going on about our holiday too much last week haha!

Out & About

We haven’t been out this week (besides a day going to work on Wednesday for me) as we have all been under the weather. I have been ill for 2 weeks now and according to most people who have had it there is still one week to go!! Great!!

We did make the effort to get wrapped up to go out in the garden on Tuesday when it snowed!! We have been waiting for snow for 2 years now and it finally came- so exciting! It left as quickly as it arrived though so not too much chance to go out and build a snowmaaaaaaan!

Fun at Home

We have been trying our best to enjoy being indoors despite feeling rubbish. We have watched quite a few Disney movies but we have also done some painting together which was great fun. I haven’t trusted Baby L with paint before and probably won’t for a bit longer as this happened!

Don’t worry, dropped the camera as soon as I realised and wiped her mouth out!! Ha!

They both enjoyed it though and it made me realise we don’t play with enough messy things or do much crafting at all really. I have already spotted a lovely craft over on Everything Mummy which I am going to do as soon as I can get to town to get the things I need and I am going to be keeping an eye out for more easy crafts for us all to do!

We also had lots of fun dressing up- I bought Baby L an Anna costume to go with the Elsa dress that Father Christmas brought for G last year. They look so cute and Baby L loves to wear dresses so spent the whole time swishing the skirt around!

Time for Me

Mr F and I had a lovely day date in London last weekend, I survived the day on Lemsip capsules and chocolate! If you are ever in London I can definitely recommend the Chocolate Ecstasy tour! Was so nice to spend time just the two of us.

My Happiest Moment

I have been chosen to be a Britax Mumbassador, I still cannot believe it to be honest but it certainly made my day!

Next week I would like to…

Feel better!! My friend managed to get tickets to see the filming of an Eastenders special of the Graham Norton show so I am want to feel well enough to be able to enjoy that!! Will let you know if I manage to actually talk to anyone- secretly hoping to meet Dot lol x
