Sometimes something catches your eye and you love it instantly, right? Well that is what happened when I saw the gorgeous teepees from Myweeteepee, so when they asked me whether we would like be ambassadors I was thrilled! Our teepee arrived last week when Little G was at school, so LJ and I put it up to surprise her when she got home. Honestly I wish I had filmed her reaction when she saw it – she actually squealed!
Since it arrived it has been truly dreadful weather and so it has been set up in our conservatory (the girls’ playroom). You may have spotted it if you have seen our latest weekend vlog, the girls were excitedly showing it off! However, the last couple of days we have been able to have it out in the garden and they have loved it!
It is easy to set up and easy to fold back down again – although I can’t see us putting it down any time soon. We’ve accessorised ours with some solar lights and they have been staying up late enough to see them turn on – even having their bedtime story in the teepee with daddy.
They like closing the ‘doors’ and hiding away from the world, entering their own little world of sisters. All you hear is the giggling between the two of them, so so cute.
We are planning on taking it away with us this weekend as we are hopefully off to the beach and it will make the perfect sun shade. If not it can be set up indoors again and used as a cosy den while it pours down outside.
I went for a neutral teepee, knowing that baby boy will be joining them in the fun soon. They already have plans to have him in there when he is born! I’ve been wanting a teepee for the girls for so long and am so glad they are able to have one now to enjoy, with their brother, for many years to come.
Myweeteepee are taking part in this year’s Den Day, set up by Save The Children. The idea is to set up your own den at home and raise money to help children all around the world. Myweeteepee are offering you the chance to win your own teepee by helping raise money. So if you want to donate to their fundraising page, they will choose one person at random to receive one of their gorgeous teepees. You have until 18th July to donate but of course in the meantime you can have your own Den Day at home.
