I have always been truly dreadful at drinking water. There have always been a variety of reasons but more than anything I just never feel thirsty. Without that thirst sensation I just simply forget. There are days when I might have 1 small glass of something to drink and generally that won’t be water. I know I should drink more but I don’t know how to change my habits.
One thing I am really good at is a challenge! Seven Seas asked me whether I would be interested in taking part in a 7 week challenge to look at the effects of increasing my water intake. We all know the benefits of drinking our daily recommendation amount but when the adverts you see young, wrinkle free, fit as a fiddle model. So I am here as a mum of two, little bit tired and weary, 31 year old.
I am going to drink my allowance of 2 litres (or more) a day and I am also going to take a Seven Seas Perfect7 Woman vitamin each day too. I’m not going to lie, I will find it difficult as I will struggle to remember, but I am determined to make this change. Not just for the challenge but because I do need to drink more for my own health!
One of the aspects of the challenge is to show the effects of ageing in relation to water intake – will drinking more help me to look more youthful? So here is a photo of me, no makeup, just me close up and personal.

Good luck! I think we could ALL do with this challenge! haha! I try really really hard but sometimes fail miserably! haha! It's also a little convenient when you need the bathroom every five minutes! anyway, best of luck; I'll be following your journey as I embark on mine to eat 2 or more portions of oily fish per week!

You already look 18. Do you want to look younger than that? The more salt you consume, the more water you need. For a month I mostly ate watermelon. I did not drink much water. By definition water is tasteless. You would do better to drink green tea that is 98% water.

Hi,
The advice for total intake of water is about 11 cups (2.7 L) per day for women and 15 cups or 3.7 liters a day for males. This amount of intake does not just about all have to be taken as water; some other fluids such as milk, lemonade, and juice could also fulfill water needs for the body.
