The Best Homemade Father’s Day Gifts From The Kids
2 Comments
As you know, my girls LOVE crafting and are always on the lookout for any excuse to make something for someone. We always turn to the web (namely Pinterest) to get ideas of things to make and sometimes there is just too much and it can become overwhelming. So with that in mind, I thought I would bring you the best ideas that we could find – to help you on your way!
So many things on Pinterest are a little unachievable but I think these are fab ideas and easy for the kids to make on their own or with a little support.
Watercolour Resist Bookmarks
These are so cute and so easy to make, if your man loves to read then a bookmark would be perfect. Head over to Cutting Tiny Bites for the full tutorial.
Newspaper Art Bookmark
If you have older kids this may be more up their alley. Really simple and yet really effective! Head over to Buggy and Buddy for more.
Saltdough Photo Frame
Really love this idea, ideal if he has a desk and wants to see those cheeky faces smiling up at him as he works. Head over to The Soccer Mom Blog for the full details.
Nuts and Bolts Heart
Is daddy a DIY expert? Or at least pretends to be? I ADORE this idea from Mosswood Connections.
Remote Control Holder
Is it just my husband that loses the remote every single day?! This is such a cute idea from Play & Learn Every Day.
Bits and Bobs Tray
This is our own effort, such an easy craft and solves the problem of that loose change left all over the place! Keep it in a personalised dish instead.
Ok so you’ve made a gift – what about a card?
Cupcake Rocket Card
This is so cute – who knew a cupcake case could turn into a rocket? For the full instructions head over to JDaniel4’s Mom.
Shirt & Tie Card
If you are feeling a little braver you might want to attempt this one – there is even a little video to help you so pop over to Learning and Exploring Through Play for more.
So there we have it, something for everyone hopefully! What is your favourite?
What great ideas. I do love that Bits and Bobs Tray :D
