Over the last few months I have become a little strict on what I allow my girls to watch. It stems from the fact that when I was pregnant with Little L the tv took over parental duties for the majority of the 9 months.
Everyone in our family love animals. Mr F and I met at university studying Zoology and this love of animals has been passed down to both girls. Little G especially loves watching all nature programs and I don’t mind at all as anything that is educational is fine by me!
We were recently sent a Wildlife dvd with a difference- it is aimed at kids and I must say as soon as Little G saw it she was so excited! Now, she is quite a fidget and doesn’t normally sit still for long but she sat from beginning to end in a trance! She actually watched it again straight after as she loved it so much! Wildlife Jack is a great concept.
The main character Jack is an animated boy who travels around the world to visit various creatures. The animals aren’t animated, they are filmed on location which allows children to have a glimpse into their world.
The whole concept has been thought up by a family, and their oldest son is the voice of Jack. The grandfather is voiced by the amazing Chris Packham and for me, a child of the 80s, this was just perfect. Chris’ name is synonymous with children’s wildlife programs and so who better to be a part of the project?
This is such a great concept and I am looking forward to seeing what else they have up their sleeve! The great news is I have 3 Wildlife Jack dvds to giveaway so your children can enjoy it too! All you need to do it complete the rafflecopter below- good luck!!
