When we first started our journey into becoming more eco-friendly as a family, we made the obvious switches first. We use glass instead of plastic for things like ketchup and mayo, spend less time in the shower etc… but we wanted to take it further and delve deeper into the products we use as a family.

Does it stop sweat?

I can only speak for myself obviously but in my opinion it is a brilliant product that does exactly what you’d expect a deodorant to do. I have always struggled to find deodorants that work for me, with many doing absolutely nothing to stop body odour. I was worried that an eco-friendly deodorant wouldn’t match up to products I’ve used for years, but Wild have developed a product that uses natural ingredients and works brilliantly – just shows that everything we need can always be found in nature. 

It is not an anti-perspirant, there are no aluminium salts used in their products. However, they use tapioca starch which absorbs moisture to keep you dry and baking soda to tackle odours – plus lots of other amazing ingredients to make up a fantastic product. 

Transition period

Some, but not all, people experience a transition period when they first switch to a natural deodorant. They may experience a bit more sweating and body odour than they are used to. This is because their underarms have to adjust from ingredients that block pores to ingredients that allow you to sweat.

If you do experience sweating and more odour- don’t panic! After about 2 weeks everything will seem normal and after 4 weeks your body will be fully transitioned. 

What scents are there?

They have a wide range of scents, with limited edition scents appearing throughout the year.
