The lovely Kat from Beau Twins tagged in in her ‘What’s in My Handbag?’ post the other week, at first I was excited- I love being tagged in stuff like that! Then I realised what I would have to show!!
So the handbag I am using at the moment is a good few years old now, I would say I got it 5ish years ago. It is from Debenhams and I do love it. I love the purple lining and the spotty material on the front. I love that it has separate zipped areas so I can compartmentalise my life!
So I had to take a birdseye view of the contents as there was so much! A proper Mary Poppins bag here!! Actually you would be surprised to hear that this is my bag on a good day!! Ha!
Ok so in more detail, here is the contents of my bag:
- Hand sanitiser- never know when you are going to need that!
- Necklace- not sure when I wore that
- Mini tub of sudocrem
- Nappy Cream
- Lippy
- Library club booklet
- Phone case
- Torch card
- Gaviscon sachets
- Bingo card- went once about 6 months ago!
- A mountain of receipts
- G’s crayons and pencils
- Hairbands and kirby grips
- Sweets from a party – I cannot even tell you when from!
- Gift cards
- Actual rubbish- bits of hanger, tissues, paper, envelopes, scratch card I didn’t win, wrappers. I disgust myself!
- 6 x pens
- My Criminal record check form to say I am ok to teach the kiddie winks
- A Next statement
So there we have it. Possibly the worst contents ever for a handbag!! What do you think Kat? After reading everyone else’s posts I have realised I need to bring my ‘taking care of me’ regime into my handbag too. I should have a mirror, a hairbrush and some perfume in there at all times.

How did I miss this? Ha ha love the tacks of receipts. My car is my giant rubbish bin. I love it when it's clean but it doesn't take long before juice bottles and food end up everywhere. My handbag recently has be come a small version of a changing bag and ends up with banana in the bottom too. Lovely hey? Xx

I love this. I adore the fact that you have a necklace in there. I often have random necklaces in my bag because I put them on and Little Miss H yanks at them. So off they come into the recesses of my handbag. You've also reminded me that I need to hunt down Little Miss H's library booklet. Hugs Mrs H xxxx

I usually have this many pens in mine if not more, but can never find one when I want one! The receipts are similar to mine as well, I never have money in my bag, as if I have it, the boys find something to spend it on!
My eldest is diabetic, so I usually have needles, lucozade, and a random assortment of snacks in mine, they're our essentials, but get me funny looks when they all fall out of my bag!x
