Video Diary: A Day In Our Lives

I have been wanting to do a day in our lives for absolutely ages now but life always seemed to get in the way. This week, with nothing else in our schedule I bit the bullet and filmed our day from beginning to end. Not going to lie, it isn’t something I will repeat any time soon – it just meant the day seemed a little segmented. However, it has confirmed that I want to do more on my YouTube channel so do sign up if you want to see more from me.

I know I want to do some pregnancy vlogs, I want to be able to document everything so I look back and remember. My memory is shocking so lord only knows what it will be like in 30 years time!

As for the day itself, it was pretty much a normal day in our lives. The only main difference was that Little G wasn’t at nursery in the afternoon so we were all together the whole day. Mr F was home a little later than normal too so it meant the girls didn’t see much of him – he was probably glad not to have me shoving the camera in his face so  maybe it was for the best.

More than anything I am glad to have done this video as it captures my girls as they are in this moment in time. I used to take lots of mini films of Little G when she was a toddler but have hardly any of LJ. I love that this little movie has captured her voice, something that I know I will forget as she begins to talk more.

I will definitely be making more home movies from now on, just probably not a full day again. Once is enough for me!
