Everywhere I look I am seeing toys from my childhood- doesn’t help that my mum keeps sorting through her loft and gives the girls bags of my old toys on a weekly basis! I really do think the 80’s were a great decade to be born in and by all of the toys making a reappearance, it seems the world agrees.
One of the toys that I loved as a child was Tiny Tears and she has been a household name for the last 50 years! I actually didn’t know she was that old, my mum could have potentially played with her as a child! That is amazing that she has lasted and stood the test of time.
I actually had the whole Tiny Tears clan, with Timmy Tears and Katie Tears, her brother and sister. You can imagine how pleased I was to find a doll with my name! And you guessed it… my mum has kept them all these years!
So Tiny Tears is celebrating her 50th anniversary this year and to celebrate the occasion they have brought out a limited edition doll.
Isn’t she beautiful? She reminds me of her big sister with all that hair!
She is the Tiny Tears we all know and love, still crying and wetting when given her bottle. LJ was a little distressed when she saw her crying and wanted to give her a cuddle- so cute!
Here is a little video of her being unboxed, the girls adore her and she is now happy to be back with her brother and sister!
If you want to get your hands on one of the dolls then head over to the John Adams website to see their Tiny Tears range.
