With the rising cost of energy, more and more families are turning down their thermostats in a bid to keep costs down. But how can you ensure you are still warm through the colder months?
The Oodie is made using warm sherpa fleece for the inside and soft Toastytek™ flannel fleece for the outside. With elasticated cuffs and a long length, the Oodie will keep you feeling toasty every day.

What is an Oodie?
The Oodie is a blanket and hoodie hybrid – essentially a blanket that you can wear in the form of an oversized hoodie.
It is made with soft Sherpa fleece inside, although they use a vegan Sherpa made from polyester so it is 100% cruelty free. The exterior is made using a soft flannel and the two combined leave you feeling snug as a bug in a rug!
What sizes can I buy?
The Oodie comes in two sizes: adult and kids and are based on a one-size-fits-all design.
The adult size fits up to a 6XL and is ideal for ages 14 upwards. The kids size is 30% smaller and designed to fit age 3 -13.
Green Tie-Dye Oodie
We have an adult and child Oodie in the green tie-dye design and honestly I have never been so cosy. I am someone who gets particularly cold and so had been struggling having the heating on so low. Now, wearing my Oodie I don’t feel the need to have the heating on at all!
Features
As well as looking great, the Oodie has some great features too.
Hood
The Oodie has a generous hood (it even manages to go over my mum-bun!) which is also lined with the soft Sherpa fleece.
You may not need to have the hood up in the house but it is very handy should you wear your Oodie outside – if you are campers or sit outside on a summer’s evening for example.
Cuffs on sleeves
Not something you would necessarily think about but an attention to detail that really pays off.
The elasticated cuffs prevent any heat escaping down and out through the sleeves, therefore keeping you even toastier.
Giant pocket
Who doesn’t love a pocket? The Oodie has a massive pocket which is perfect for keeping your hands warm as well as storing your phone, book, snacks…… and anything else you fancy.
Long length
The Oodie comes down to my knees (I am 5ft 9) and down to my son’s knees also (age 6). The longer length means heat is less likely to escape out the bottom of the Oodie but it also means you can sit on the sofa with your knees up inside it like a blanket. So cosy!
Final thoughts
I wish I’d invested in an Oodie years ago. Not only are they comfortable and snuggly, but they have allowed us to reduce our energy bill by having the heating turned off over the last few months.
The fact that they are one-size-fits-all means that as long as we look after them, they will last us for years and years to come.
