The Natural History Museum: Our Experience

I used to visit The Natural History Museum a lot as a child, I have fond memories of my daytrips with my parents, spending hours exploring the different exhibits. My girls have been too young up until now, so we decided to take them up to London this weekend to see the sights. Obviously with Little L being so small it was mainly for Little G but either way, it was lovely to be out as a family.

The museum itself isn’t how I remember it, I think they must have expanded it and changed a lot of the exhibits over the years as besides the giant tree stump I didn’t recognise much at all. To be honest I was a little disappointed, there was a massive queue for the dinosaur exhibition and the rest wasn’t much interest at all. Still, Little G enjoyed herself and that is the main thing.

We used to go to the Natural History Museum as well as the Science one a lot as kids - I hope to be able to take my little one some day when he is older.

The dinosaur exhibit was always my favourite. I do remember as time passed it got busier and busier and, wow, it looks hectic in the picture you shared! :-)

I have never been here before wow its busy. I take my little one to our museum every few weeks I too have memories of being there as a child. Looks like your daughter enjoyed herself. :)

Ooh I love it here so much. We really wanted to go over half term a good few weeks ago but the queue was wrapped around the building and it looked slightly crazy :) Will definitely have to go back over summer I think!
