Getting a Healthy Glow

I don’t know about you but I always feel so much better about myself when I have a bit of colour to my skin. I am naturally very pale- I am not sure there are many people paler than me! Whenever I go out in the sun I burn instantly and by the next day I am whiter than white again!

Besides the fact that we don’t get much sun in the UK, I don’t actually want to sit and damage my skin. That is why I always look to use alternative ways of creating that sun kissed look. I was recently sent a bottle of TanOrganic, a moisturising sunless tan.

What did I think?

Application was so easy, it comes out of the bottle as a clear oil and I immediately noticed the lack of an offensive smell that you often find with tanning agents. It did have a smell, but very faint and not at all unpleasant. I used a mitt to apply the oil and it covered my skin well, you can use your hands but I find a mitt gives an even finish. It was hard to tell if I had managed to reach all areas as it is clear but the fact that it is an oil means it is easy to smooth everywhere.

I noticed a difference in colour within an hour or two, nothing drastic, just a gentle glow to my skin. I had managed to cover everywhere so it looked natural and absolutely no streaks anywhere. I also felt moisturised which is good, not like other brands that actually dry your skin.

The glow lasted for days and as it faded there was no patchiness which was great, you don’t want to have to scrub away at your skin! I have been using it for the past few weeks now, just on my upper body and there is still plenty left. It says there is enough for 5 full body applications and I would say that would be about right.
