Happy Days: Being Stuck Indoors Isn’t So Bad

Welcome to HappyDays! The idea of this linky is to inspire others to make the best out of every day, to see the happy in the little things. As no matter what, there is always something good in every single day- we just need to take the time to see it. Share your happy posts, I love to read them!

What a week! I have been poorly and the girls have been even worse. I am totally blaming Mr F for the whole thing- bringing germs in from the outside. I could blame Little G but that wouldn’t be very motherly would it?! Either way we have been stuck indoors the whole week feeling under the weather. There is always a positive though and it has meant I have had plenty of time to get my head around Christmas and make plans for the new year.

I couldn’t be more excited for 2016, I really couldn’t. I get this way at the end of every year but I really do feel like 2016 is going to be an amazing year for us all. I am mentally making resolutions- I am sure I will be sharing them at some point. I just feel like I am going to be able to really get rid of the old and totally embrace the new and that is so exciting!

Getting organised for 2016

One thing that really cheered me up this week was my new blog planner arriving. I have been filling it up already in preparation! I chose the quote after searching for a while on Pinterest. It jumped out at me as I think if I look at that each day it will remind me to make each day the best it can be!

Happy Days 61

Other than that we have been decorating the house a little more and wrapping gifts for the family. I am almost done with presents now, although I have no idea when I am going to wrap the girls’ presents. Not sure I can face doing it in the evening- might have to send Mr F out with them for a couple of hours.

As I am writing this, he is off out on his Christmas do, that is the one thing I miss about work. But, I am snuggled up on the sofa next to my beautiful tree so cannot ask for much more than that can I?

I will be doing a Happy Days post next Saturday (19th) but not on Boxing day. But I will be back on the 2nd of January- can you even believe there is only a couple of weeks left of 2015?! Make them count.

Ah December is a month for relaxing and reflection for me, can't plan too much or I would never get presents wrapped haha. x

I'm also sitting by my beautiful tree while my husband is at his work's do and the family is struck down with a cold. I think I also prefer that to making chit-chat with his colleagues all evening ;) You've inspired me to start thinking about 2016 and what I want to achieve - I just don't know where to start! Great idea to send out an email reminder when the linky is live, sometimes it's hard to remember the who, when and where of all of them :)
