I honestly though Lils would be potty trained by now. Her sister was fully dry by two and a half and so now that she is creeping towards three, I am starting to wonder whether she will ever get there. Of course that is a nonsense isn’t it – she won’t be 20 and still in nappies! Doesn’t stop you worrying though does it? My main concern is the fact that she is supposed to be starting pre-school in January and she will not be happy with anyone else changing her.
Of course I now have another in nappies too – so that brings double the amount of nappies and double the changes throughout the day. Well, Wills gets changed more with all the pooplosions but you get the idea. We are actually going to be using cloth with him, something I did with Gracie but failed to continue with Lils. I hadn’t thought about doing it but found an absolute steal at an NCT sale – 20 brand new nappies for under £100! Total bargain I can tell you!
The thing about having children in nappies is you have to cart them around, them and all the wipes, creams and other accessories that come along for the ride. I’ve had various changing bags over the years but none have ever been quite as stylish as my gorgeous new PacaPod! I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and I have had so many people comment on what a lovely bag it is – they don’t even realise that it is a changing bag!
The fab feature of the Pacopod is of course the pods- with a changer pod and a feeder pod. Perfect for keeping your bag organised – with snacks for the older ones, keeping the nappy bits separate. I’m terrible for losing my keys in amongst all of the kiddy stuff so this is the perfect solution for me!
I also love that the bag comes with buggy clips, meaning I don’t lose precious basket space and am able to have my bag to hand at all times – just the best idea!
I have always been glad to be able to say goodbye to my changing bags, swapping them for a real handbag. This time though, I’ll be keeping the PacaPod as a ‘me’ bag even when these two are too old for nappies!! I love it!!
I was kindly sent my Pacapod but all words and thoughts are my own.
