I cannot believe Wills is 3 months old, honestly where has the time gone? It doesn’t seem a minute that we brought him home and he was all cosied up in his moses basket. He has always been covered with a little blanket but recently he has started to roll and wriggle about more and so it is time to put him in a sleeping bag.
He is still in our bed in the night and doesn’t show any signs of being ready to move out, but for naps in the day he is definitely ready to go into his own room. Up until now he has had naps in the living room but he is such a nosey parker that he gets far too distracted and never falls asleep.
I’ve been getting him used to his cot for the last month or so, leaving him in there under his mobile while I tidy away his clothes or have a shower and he is quite happy in there. I am hoping that he will be happy to nap in there too and will get a decent stretch in the peace and quiet.
I got rid of all of the girls’ sleeping bags years ago and so when The Little Green Sheep got in touch about their new range I was very happy to work with them. We were sent this lovely sleeping bag with a bear on the front. The collection features rabbits, bears and woodland prints and are all in this grey and mint green combination which is really lovely don’t you think? They are all so soft, being made from a marl jersey cotton – perfect for a baby’s delicate skin.

I am going to try Wills in his cot for his first nap of the day initially as that is when he is easiest to get to sleep. Hopefully he will feel snug in his sleeping bag and will transition to the other naps nice and easily too.

It's sad that I can't remember with my second but my first went for naps in his room at the age of 6 months I think. Before that he used to nap in the spare bedroom on the bed. Same with the second one actually.
