Siblings In July

I am joining in with the Siblings Photography project with Dear Beautiful and the other co-hosts. I am forever taking photos of my girls but I want to have a monthly record of how they change and grow together.

There has been a real shift this month. I have been commenting each month on how their relationship is developing and how they are playing with each other more and more. Well, this month they became best friends.

We went on holiday at the beginning of the month and I think being away from home, with limited toys, really pushed them together. Back home now and they are continuing with their games and it is so sweet to see! It is the relationship I always wanted with my sister and the reason I had the girls so close together.

Here are a few pictures from our holiday, of just the two of them.

This last photo just doesn’t capture what I want but it reminds me nonetheless. Little L had patted the decking and shouted to her big sister to come sit next to her. As Little G sat down she shuffled up close to be near her best friend. Just adorable.
