Not that I am wishing the year away but I actually thought it was time for my February Siblings post! Doesn’t it seem absolutely ages ago that we were getting ready for Christmas? I am definitely ready for the lighter evenings and summer days with the kids that’s for sure!
I am not organised at all this month photos-wise, I just haven’t really had the opportunity to get the three of them together. Thing is with a baby, it isn’t like you can just prop them up at any given opportunity, you have to make an opportunity. Unfortunately it has taken me until the very last minute to create that opportunity – i.e. throw them on the bed when the light is almost gone!
This month Lils started pre-school and it has changed everything. It has changed how she views herself and how I view her, she is no longer my little baby and I can’t quite get my head around it. She has started talking more, even to strangers, and is much more confident in the way she presents herself. She is now Gracie’s equal and it is causing a few arguments – something I hope will sort itself out asap!
With her new found confidence, the competitive behaviours have returned and Wills seems to be the focus. They both want to love him the most, hug him the most, kiss him the most, sing to him the loudest. It is driving me bonkers! He is lapping it up though and just gives them the biggest grins, he adores them already – so cute.
However, her confidence has also brought more communication between the two of them and more intricate games invented, just for the two of them to enjoy. I love listening to the two of them laughing and chatting upstairs and I am so thankful that they have each other, just for those days when I am busy with Wills or like this week where I haven’t felt very well at all.
As much as these were very last minute photos I actually really like them. They show my 3 as they really are – dishevelled messes! I am not one to have their hair brushed at all times and half the time Lils has food all over her face – but they are happy and that is all that matters.

Love these pics Kate — I think they might be my fave so far of your three. Interesting to see how the dynamic will change with L and G now that she's at pre-school. I've just written about year three — it's been explosive, that's for sure!! xx #SiblingsProject
PS — do you think Will's eyes will stay that colour? Has Mr F got blue eyes?

I know - I have a feeling she may just find her voice being at school and not sure Gracie will like it much haha! He has green eyes but his dad and my dad both had blue so it is in the family. Really hope he keeps them as I adore them!! x

These pictures are absolutely adorable - sometimes I think the last minute ones that you grab at home are the best ones. #SiblingsProject

Oh they are just adorable. I'm finding my two at the moment are very competitive over the littlest, so totally understand that. They both love him more than the other does apparently. Mason just loves the attention! Gorgeous photos xx
