I have been blogging for around 18 months now and of all the things to come from it I think a love of photography is right up there. I have never really had a hobby or anything that I am good at, always giving up on various instruments I tried or anything I put my hand to really. Last Christmas Mr F bought me a DSLR camera and it has been love ever since.
I love beautiful photos and now that I have found the blogging world (having never read a blog up until last year) I get to see fantastic photos from others bloggers all the time. I am always inspired and am slowly finding my own style, preferring bright and bold photos. I have played for hours with Picmonkey, trying to adjust colours and find what I like and I think I know what I am doing now.
Something I am really loving now is light. Wherever I go I am drawn to the light and shade of situations and am determined to get the right technique to create great photos. I find phones are better for this (just cannot get it right on my DSLR) and cannot wait to get an iPhone in a couple of months! My phone is still good for still photos though and many of the pictures on here have been taken with it, it just isn’t any good for moving objects.
The best light is just as the sun is going down and this is when I go to get Little G from school every day. I love walking along, the sun making long shadows as we pass the play fields. LJ loves to spot her shadow and we always wave to each other, just little things like that make me so happy and it is my favourite part of the day.

Kate I have always take loads and loads of photos. But I too have developed a love for photography lately. So much so that I am starting a course in January I can not wait arghhh x

Being a foodie blogger I am really missing the light and the chance to get my food outside to be photographed. However, only another blogger would get my excitement, I have found the perfect light and place for my pictures. I have to take everything upstairs to the twins bedroom and use Isabella's drawers! But the light is perfect! Plus it is some extra exercise going up and down! I love your pictures above light is simply fascinating, I love sun beams x

Do you know, I have never really thought about moving food out of the kitchen to take photos of it. I need to invest in more backgrounds etc and I have a conservatory and that would be ideal for light- how have I not thought of it sooner??? x
