PAW Patrol Ready Race Rescue Mobile Pit Stop – Review

Inside: A look at the PAW Patrol Ready Race Rescue Mobile Pit Stop | Gifted

PAW Patrol is lived and breathed in this house and so as soon as we heard that there was to be a second movie we had our tickets booked! Have you seen it?

It’s the ADVENTURE BAY 500! The pups have built an awesome race track and are ready to be the pit crew for their race hero, THE WHOOSH!

But when the legendary racer is unable to drive in the championship race, he calls on his biggest fan-pup Marshall to take the wheel and race in his place!

The movie is focused around a big race and so the crew have to be on hand to fix the cars. For this they need a Mobile Pit Stop and fans will be excited to know that Spin Master have brought out a new truck so little ones can re-enact the movie!

The Ready Race Rescue Mobile Pit Stop comes with a Chase figure and his own race car. You can buy the rest of the race pups separately (aff link) to complete the collection – perfect for birthday gifts from family and friends.

The Pit Stop Truck can make sounds at the press of a tyre button with honking, beeping, the sound of tools, the roar of the engine and of course the PAW Patrol theme tune.

When it is time for a pit stop, open up the rear door so the race cars can drive up the ramp for a once over.

Once they are fixed, press another tyre button to transform the truck into a vehicle launcher. The side pops out and the control panel flips up – a big hit in our house!

Once the car is ready, your child can launch it at the press of a button so it can carry on with the race.

The truck has a driver cabin at the front, which we actually use for Robodog as the resident driver around Adventure Bay!

Our thoughts

William hasn’t stopped playing with it and it has added an extra element to his PAW Patrol play. Having seen the movie, he has been re-telling the story, and having races but also using his imagination to make up new stories for his favourite pups.

There is something magical about those pups, he loves them more than I have ever seen a child love anything and having new storylines and new vehicles has just added to his love of the world of PAW Patrol.

It is sturdy, colourful and is simple enough that it still requires them to use their imagination to use – important for developing key skills. It is also compact enough that it doesn’t take up too much space compared to some of the bigger items in the range. If you know a PAW Patrol fan then this is a lovely gift.

Available from Amazon (aff link) and all good toy stores, RRP £40.

We were gifted this toy in return for this review. All words and thoughts are my own.
