My Weight Loss Journey – Week 10 #SlimFastChallenge

I am on a mission to shift 3 stone and am using my blog (and you) as my motivation. Each week I will share losses (or gains) on the scales and will also be measuring myself to see whether I have lost any inches!
My Weightloss

The Results

Weight lost= 0
(Total loss -11lbs)

Inches lost (over 7 measurements) = -2
(Total loss – 27″)

How was my week?

You may have noticed there was no update last week. I was so ill the week before that I thought any weight lost would not be true loss and to be quite honest I just wasn’t in the frame of mind to be bothering with scales.

I had just started the #SlimFastChallenge so was pretty gutted when I had to stop. I actually worried that I was having a reaction to the plan and Google only fuelled my panic! A couple of days later Mr F fell ill so I knew it was a bug going around. Not nice I can tell you.

Anyway, I am back in the game now and have been having my Slimfast shakes every day for the past week. I was really excited to get on the scales this morning after hearing about other people’s successes in the challenge. So imagine my disappointment when there was no change. I am gutted in all honesty as I have followed the plan to the letter and at times have been pretty hungry.

I have lost inches though and that is important too. I am feeling really good about my shape now and have so much more confidence so that is all positive. I still have a week to go so hopefully I will see more results by the second week.

Have you ever tried Slim Fast?

    Inches are what is important! But I have to admit that I don’t like any diet plan where you would be hungry.. I’ve lost few pounds recently, without ever being hungry, eating almost everything.

      I agree, I will be glad to go back to Slimming world with mountains of pasta haha! x

    Hi Katy, I did the Slim Fast Challenge pre-wedding and lost 8lbs. I did it alongside boot camp, but being strict with the shakes stopped me snacking on cakes and snacks at work. I’m thinking of doing it again to help with the baby weight, but worried it’s not enough to sustain me whilst looking after a new born. Keep us updated on how you are doing. Good luck x

    I have tried Slim fast previously but having only liquids for two meals wasn’t for me. Quick question are you drinking plenty of water I have heard that it can help with how well the plan works?
    You are right inches are important good luck for the coming week.

      Do you know, that could be it Laura. I am rubbish for drinking water so maybe I am hindering the process!! Oops!! x

      Thanks Katie, I have plateaued now though which is frustrating. Need to get running again. x
