We live in a lovely market town and it is always full of life! There is always a carousel in the market square and Little G always asks if she can have a ride- at £1.50 a go I am a bit of a scrooge and always tell her ‘maybe next time’.
This weekend, town was busier than usual as everyone was celebrating the May bank holiday. There were stalls, balloons and of course, the carousel. Once again Little G asked if she could have a ride and she must have caught me on a good day as I said yes!
Watching her go around and around with a huge grin on her face made me feel guilty that I hadn’t given in sooner. She didn’t stop smiling the whole time and was in a good mood for the rest of the day! Maybe the carousel man will be getting a bit more money from this mummy from now on.
