My Spring Summer Wardrobe

I find choosing clothes really difficult, I am not really sure I have a fashion path anymore. I look at people’s roundup posts of various clothes from different shops and I think ‘yep, I like that’ but when I go to the website I browse through the collections and just feel like they aren’t me. Next is one of my favourite shops for the girls- but for me? I can never find anything I like. I used to love Topshop but I find their stuff to be a bit too ‘trendy’ for me now that I am not 18 anymore. I would love to wear designer clothes but unless someone buys them for me, that is not an option.

Do you know what shop always comes up trumps? New Look. First of all, they sell shoes in my size- 8’s if you are wondering. Second, they sell very comfy leggings (my mummy staple) but most importantly they sell fashionable clothes at an affordable price. Win win! I was given some vouchers for my birthday this week and so I have been browsing on their website to see what they have.

So, here are a selection of things I have my eye on and hopefully will be wearing soon!

1. There is something so fun about playsuits, I cannot wait to get my legs out after months of wearing leggings!
2. I really like dressing in smart clothes, I think it is because I have never had to wear a suit to work! This blazer with zip detail is just up my street!
3. I am off to a party in a few weeks and I really want this halterneck jumpsuit! I have quite a long body though so I am not sure whether it will fit me- fingers crossed!
4. I really need a new bag! I love this one, I am a big fan of the satchel look.
5. Now that Baby isn’t pulling at my jewellery anymore I can start wearing necklaces again! Hurrah!
6. I always wear leggings so have been on the look out for some trousers- these tile print trousers are a bit different.
7. I cannot wear heels anymore but wedges are my new best friend!
8. Of course flats are a must as a mother- these lace ballet pumps are really cute.
