Mother’s Day is upon us once again but with circumstances as they are, I for one won’t get to see my mum this year. Instead, I will be looking to send her something special and have turned to Moonpig to get it sorted.

Fresh flowers
I always love receiving fresh flowers and I don’t know that there is any woman out there who doesn’t.
Moonpig flowers arrive in a sturdy box with the flowers neatly presented in a bouquet arrangement. They come with a little water inside the wrapping to ensure they don’t dry out during transit and so arrive looking fresh as the day they were picked.

Mother’s Day delivery
Moonpig is offering delivery on Mothering Sunday (14th March 2021) so you can be sure that your gift will reach its destination on time.
You can also request guaranteed delivery via a courier for Saturday (13th March 2021) if you’d rather it arrive early. Please note any orders sent via a Special Delivery service will require a signature on delivery and will be received before 4 pm.
Otherwise, you can choose a day from their calendar at checkout and they will ensure the delivery is dispatched in time to meet that date. Please note that due to current circumstances standard deliveries are delayed by 2 working days.
When do I need to order by?
Their website states that for same-day dispatch, you need to have ordered by certain times. These are as follows:
Cards: 7pm
Flowers: 9pm
Gifts: 9pm (Mugs: 8pm)
Alcohol: 9pm
You then need to account for delivery times of course so I wouldn’t order any later than Wednesday 10th March to be sure of delivery by Sunday, whether that is by courier or standard post.
