Me & Mine: July

So this should be my last family portrait of just the 4 of us. If there are still 4 of us come the end of August I may not have such a cheery look on my face, haha!!

This post comes at the end of a lovely week, spent all together as a family with Little G off on summer holidays and Mr F having a week off too. We have been away for the last 4 days, our last mini break before our world becomes a little more hectic!

We spent the beginning of the week enjoying the sunshine, going to the splash park and various birthday parties. It was relaxed but hectic at the same time as pretty much everything exhausts me these days. On Wednesday we had a lovely afternoon celebrating my mum’s birthday and then we made a 3 hour journey down to Dorset to see more friends.

On Friday we went to the zoo – have you ever been to Longleat? It is perfect if you are pregnant as it is a drive around safari! Hurrah! And then yesterday we went to Weymouth beach for the day to see my lovely friend B. I’ve not seen her since her wedding back in October! I got her to take these photos of the 4 of us and actually it is the very same place we took our me and mine last May.

This year’s beach trip was much more successful, compared to last year when we lost Little G for what seemed an eternity. I didn’t let her go more than a few feet from me this year – lord knows how I am going to look after 3 children!!

We don’t have any more plans for the month now. Mr F will be back at work Monday and so the girls and I will probably just laze around the house, never going too far away incase I go into labour. Hopefully they have had enough fun this week to make up for the lack of anything else happening for the foreseeable future. As long as they have each other they are content though, I am thankful for that.

Keep your fingers crossed that this time next month will feature a little baby!! 🙂

I agree, the jumper or t-shirt struggle is real. What lovely photographs your little ladies are so happy and gorgeous. You capture your family so well every month xx I feel like September has been the longest month ever, I will be glad to see the back of it! Your girls are beautiful.

Ahhh perfect photos!!! You all look beautiful. I've never been to Longleat - I'm dying to go but part of me is so scared of the thought of lions near the car?!?! I watched a bloody Youtube clip were one managed to open the car door lol! Obviously I wouldnt be daft enough not to lock them but its left me terrified!! I CANNOT wait for next months photos to see you all as a family of 5! AAARGH exciting! #Meandmine x
