If you follow me on Instagram you’ll have seen me and the girls in our matching swimming costumes. When I spotted them in Next I knew I just had to have them – I have always said that Next have gorgeous kidswear and that I’d wear half of it myself and now I can! I am sure there are plenty of people who will think me bonkers but I don’t care – I love it and so do the girls.
Now obviously because they are from Next they are all brilliant quality too. The girls have swimming costumes but mine is actually a tanksuit. I’d heard of a tankini before so wasn’t entirely sure what a tanksuit was but I’ll tell you what it is – genius.
Basically it looks like a tankini but it is actually a swimming costume! The pants are part of a swimsuit and then the top part just layers over the top to create the illusion. The result is a really flattering look and you don’t have to worry about pulling your pants up while you whizz down slides and enjoy yourself in the water.
