Inside: A look at some of the pieces in this seasons Angie Smith Edit from FatFace. Includes gifted items.
My style has evolved so much over the years, from my trackies with poppers in my early teens, to mini skirts through my uni days, to what can only be described as frumpy during my late 20’s.
Having kids made me lose sight of who I was and a very big part of that was reflected in how I dressed. I didn’t know how to dress anymore.
Over the last couple of years, I have slowly found my way back again and I am happy with my style. I am somewhere between casual everyday and office smarts and it seems to work! One thing I do struggle with though is finding pieces in the first place – I tend to veer towards jeans and stripes! I definitely need inspiration to help me choose.
This season, FatFace has teamed up with stylist Angie Smith to create a gorgeous collection of pieces to help you look and feel amazing. They asked me whether I would take a look and share the edit with you and honestly I didn’t know what to choose – everything is so lovely!
In the end, I decided I wanted to choose something to help me feel more feminine and so I chose the Abbie Tiger Moth dress.
I mean a dress with pockets is always going to be a winner, isn’t it?
The print is really unusual, with the Tiger moths – something very seasonal but with blue colour could easily be worn all year round I think – I certainly will be!
The dress comes with a belt in matching print but I popped that in my hair and thought that a leather belt would just add a little more interest to the look instead.
This is the Square Tortoise Shell Buckle Belt and it is made from such a soft leather, with the tortoiseshell adding a little extra detail to any outfit.
One of the key trends this season has been biker boots and it is a look that I have adored since my teens. The Hadlow Biker Boots are so versatile as they can be worn with jeans but also with a dress to add a bit of flair to an outfit.
They are so comfortable with a little heel and lovely soft leather. They are accurate in their size too – mine being a size 8 and fitting really well compared to some 8s you find.
This look is my favourite of the season and I would honestly wear this outfit every single day of the week if I could.
The thing I love about FatFace is the quality of all of their products. The dress is made with such lovely cotton – heavy enough to feel luxurious but not too heavy that it weighs you down.
The other pieces in the collection are just as gorgeous – particularly the Beckie Bobble Jumper and I am yet to try a pair of their jeans but if they are like their dungarees then I know they will be an amazing fit.

I was gifted these items in return for sharing them on my blog. All words and thoughts are my own.
