LJ has missed out on quite a few events over the last few months, always staying home with her granny while I take her sister. I have taken her to a couple but as you can imagine, a buggy and a toddler in London isn’t the most fun in the world! With Little G being at school every afternoon I am more able to deal with a buggy and so LJ is finally getting in on the blogger event action!
She was so excited to be on a train and spent the whole time looking out of the window, squealing with delight when she saw just about anything! She especially loved the tubes and was pleased as punch being able to sit on the seats instead of her buggy. We made our way through London and finally made it to the event- a sneak peek at the new Lil’ Ocean Explorers range from Little Tikes.
We had a lovely afternoon playing with all of the lovely toys, they are just as you would expect from Little Tikes- bright, colourful and fun. We are huge Little Tikes fans and this new range is a great addition to their other fab products.
The range is designed to grow with the child, with all toys being great for sitting and standing. They encourage various skills such as hand eye coordination or recognising cause and effect. It is so important to stimulate little minds and so the fact that they have really thought about this is great. For me as a teacher I know what I am looking out for in a toy and these ticked all of the boxes for me!
They ticked LJ’s boxes too, she especially loved this tunnel she loves anything to crawl through!
We were also treated to afternoon tea, how delicious do these cakes look? I can tell you they tasted even better! I have never made mini victoria sponges but they are on my to do list now!!
We were very kindly sent home with a couple of toys to play with, the gorgeous Lobster (my favourite) and the Stand and Dance Starfish. I thought we would make a little video so you can see it in action!
We haven’t put it away yet as LJ keeps going back for more. Although it is a bit too young for Little G, she has also enjoyed playing with it and showing LJ what to do!
A big thanks to Little Tikes for inviting us along, we had a great time!
