Kids Style: The Nutmeg SS17 Collection

I love buying clothes for the kids, more than I love buying for myself (although that is slowly changing now that I am finding my styleand so when we were invited to check out the new SS17 collection from Nutmeg by Morrisons I was very excited indeed! Have you ever bought any of their clothes? If you haven’t then you really need to get down to a store as they are gorgeous!

It was actually the first time I had taken the kids to London since before the summer holidays but thankfully Mr F was off and was the extra pair of hands I needed – three kids on the underground is a little bit stressful!

Playing shops with Morrisons

We were greeted by a lovely play area for the kids – with plenty of activities to keep them busy. Lils was happy playing shop and Gracie spent the whole time decorating a t-shirt. A really lovely activity actually and one I will recreate at home on a rainy day!

Once they were all settled, it was time for me to browse the new collection. I was obviously looking at baby boy and young girl clothes but I did have a sneaky peak at the baby girl clothes – so lovely!! They cater for older children too, with sizings up to age 14 which is great.

One of the themes for spring/summer is under the sea, with cute slogans and bright seaside colours. I would dress my three in every single thing in the collection, it is all age appropriate and made from the softest cotton I’ve ever felt!

Young girls Nutmet SS17

The girls had fun browsing too and picked out their favourite items. As well as their under the sea theme, they are also introducing an Americana trend to tie in with the election. Gracie has a real love of summer dresses so I knew straight away that she would make a beeline for this one.

Little Girls Nutmeg SS17

Lils is a strawberry monster so this t-shirt is perfect for her and I love it!

Jellies from Nutmeg

They both immediately took a shine for these shoes too – who doesn’t love jellies?

Genius T shirt Nutmeg

The exciting thing for me was browsing the baby boy outfits. I am so enjoying dressing him and by spring he will be starting to sit up and might even be crawling around so will look so cute in shorts and t-shirts! I can’t wait!!

Our winning picture

They were running a competition throughout the day and we only went and won with this photo!! Hurrah!! The prize was a voucher and I am very excited to go down to our local Morrisons and get them some lovely outfits! I will let you know what I buy – no doubt I will pop photos up on Instagram! 🙂

Do you have Nutmeg in a branch near you?

Oh wow, was just thinking this looks like an expensive brand and then saw it was at Morrisons. Shame our local store closed down this year, although I'm sure our larger store up the road will have them. Will have to check it out!
