Baby Boy Nursery Tour

Home Edition: Baby Boy’s Nursery

Owl Doorstop from Dunelm Mill

I’ve been meaning to write/film this for so long but like a lot of things on my to-do list, this just kept being put off and off. But finally I have taken photos and filmed a little bit to give you a mini tour of the room.

The overall feel I wanted to achieve was one of calm and with white walls and either neutral or bluey accessories I think we have done it! It isn’t the biggest room in the world so haven’t got any big luxury items like a nursing chair (not that I would use one anyway – bed is warmer!) but all the essentials are there. 🙂

Print from Mamas & Papas

You may have already seen my post the other week sharing my visit to Mamas & Papas. I picked up this beautiful canvas along with a couple of other bits. I just love it! It set the tone for the rest of the room and as a result there are a lot of stars and ‘sky’ based things everywhere.

Bunting from Asda

This sleepy owl bunting was one of the first things I got actually, way back when, after we had just found out we were having a boy. It is from Asda so was only a few quid 🙂

Belle & Boo Sticker

Have you heard of Belle & Boo? This wall sticker is of Boo and I love it!

Belle and Boo Print

This beautiful print is also from Belle and Boo but is of Ellis and his toy horse Easy and is called The Little Aviator. We have a couple of other prints too which you will see when I finally get around to showing you my photo wall up the stairs! I am a little bit addicted to them – so lovely!

Rug from Dunelm

Again with the stars, this bluey green rug is also from Dunelm Mill and sits just in front of his little bookcase. I wish it was a little bigger but it will do for his little bottom once he starts showing an interest in books.

If you want to see the whole room tour and listen to me nattering on the check out my video..

I still need to get him a lampshade – the one I saw in Mamas & Papas. Knowing me it will take until after he is here to get it ordered!!
