HappyDays Linky #42

Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. The idea of this linky is to inspire others to make the best out of every day, whether that be at home, out and about at the park or away on holiday. Jenna and I want everyone to see the happy in every day!

Where has this week gone? And how is it August already? I am really enjoying these summer holidays and don’t want them to end! One, I am not ready for Little G to start big girl school but two, I am loving not being at work!!! Ha!!

So before I go into our week I have been pondering a name change for Little L for a while (not in real life, on here haha!). I realised the other day that I have never once said her initials out loud since naming her and I have totally missed a trick for a nickname on here. Her initials are LJ! How cool is that?

I always think for those that don’t know their real names it must be hard sometimes to know who is who with both being a ‘Little’. Unfortunately Little G’s initials are GA so that is not so cool – she will remain Little G for now and Little L will be LJ. Just makes it that bit clearer I think. I don’t know, let me know your thoughts!

Anyway, over to our week.

Out & About

We had a very wet weekend and spent all of Sunday at Woburn Safari Park. We had been given a ticket and it was our only free weekend until about October so it was then or never- we chose then! You can read about it in my write-up of the day if you fancy looking at gorgeous animals. The video may possibly feature a rhino doing a poo too! Hahaha!!

I mentioned in my post last week that we were going to visit Aby and Baby. We had a lovely day, albeit a bit cold and the girls are still bff’s.

It was so sunny and warm yesterday wasn’t it? We didn’t want to waste the day so we went to the park and played on the roundabout and swings.

Fun At Home

We had a really lovely day with Sian and her boys on Thursday, we chatted for hours and hours while the kids played nicely together. So lovely having a fellow blogger just around the corner- although we knew each other before I started so it is just a bonus now!

I have no photos from the day but keep an eye out in the next week or two as we have organised to go to a sunflower field! How amazing will that be!!

My Happiest Moment

Waking up each morning to a tidy house. Simple as that really. I have decluttered so much that the house is unrecognisable! My mum thinks I have totally lost it, maybe I have! I am just sick of clutter and too much stuff. We do not live in a 6 bedroom mansion so we cannot live as though we do! I still have a fair way to go but so far so good!

Next week I would like to..

I am not sure actually. I feel like I want to go on an adventure!!
