My featured blogger this week is A Beautiful Abode. Reading about Zoe’s home and how she is wanting it to look less 60s terraced and more country chic really stuck out as that is ME! I love how she has taken some lavender from her Nan’s neighbour’s garden and decorated her home! Go check it out!

Doesn’t seem a minute since I was writing last week’s post having come back from holiday! Where is the time going???

Out & About

Last Sunday Little G and I went to Leicester Square to see the Thomas & Friends movie. It was our very first premiere and it was so much fun! I got dressed up for the occasion- not every day you get to go to a premiere and shmooze with celebs is it?

I have no recollection as to what we did on Monday and Tuesday besides buying Little G’s sweatshirts for September. She looks so grown up, I cannot believe how grown up she has suddenly become! I will be showing off our whole uniform haul soon, the pinafore is just the cutest!!

Wednesday was another trip to London- honestly I have never been so many times in such a short space of time! This time was to a secret event showcasing the new Bratz dolls. I remember my sister playing with them years ago and always wished I could have one! Little G wants one for her birthday so I will be able to play with hers!!

The best thing about the event was the hair braiding station- I have been busy braiding G’s hair ever since (and maaaay have attempted to do Little L’s too….) but here is the awesome braid she had done while we were there.

Friday was Little G’s very last day at pre-school, she didn’t want to accept the situation and refused to say goodbye when we left. She will probably cry in a few days- very emotional child that one!

To celebrate the holidays we went to a farm nearby. We had a lovely afternoon with their friends Little O and Little P and us mummies had a good old chat! Here is a little collage of our afternoon.

My Happiest Moment

Do you know, as things happen during the week I always think to myself oh this will make a good happiest moment! and then it comes to writing my post and they go clear out of my head!!

I got a very exciting email this week and I really hope something comes of it, it would be my dream collaboration!!

Next week I would like to..

First week of the summer holidays! Woo hoo! Little G’s teacher told me to hold on to her artwork as she is so talented. Obviously I don’t have visions of her being the next Leo Da Vinci but I do want to nurture her talent. I think I may teach her how to do water colours or something like that.
