Out & About

I have barely been at home these last few days, it is so strange as for the longest time I have been a hermit but since started supply work and taking up blogging I am so much more social!

Of course the weekend was spent in London at Britmums, such a lovely event! If you didn’t go I would definitely recommend getting your earlybird ticket when they come out and get your place for next year!

Monday I had to drop my mum at a funeral so we took the opportunity to go to Lakeside while we were waiting for her. We bought half of Primark ready for our holiday (and still only spent £36!!!) so have lots of lovely things to wear!

Tuesday was the longest day ever! I was a guest speaker at BlogCamp Creative in the morning and made a fab bag while I was at it! Then I went along to a Whirlpool event in the afternoon – drinking cocktails from washing machines! The evening was all about Women In Engineering Day where I attended a special event organised by British Gas. I was exhausted!

Fun at Home

I worked Wednesday morning but the afternoon was spent in the garden having a bug hunt with the girls. We found a massive spider and I had to pretend to be thrilled!!

Mr F finally came home after a week in Azerbaijan and so Friday was all about time as a family. We picked Little G up from preschool and spent the afternoon having lunch and being together. I don’t want him to go away for that long ever again!

Time for Me

Britmums and my galavanting in London was plenty of me time. I actually just want some family time now as I have missed them all!

My Happiest Moment

I am in our local paper this week! They wanted to run a story about my MAD blog nomination so here it is…
