Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. I co-host this linky with Jenna (Tiny Footsteps) so please do remember to go over to her post and say hi! We want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciate the little things in life and have happy days.
I really enjoyed this post from Scandi Mummy, it actually brought a tear to my eye. Children are a source of happiness to us all and this post was a reminder to make sure that we fill their lives with happiness too. Go take a look, just a fab post!
Ok over to my week!
Out & About
We have been at home hosting different friends and family get togethers for the majority of this week but on Wednesday we had a great time in London at a fairy tea party. I braved going on the train with both girls- something I am not keen to repeat!
The trains themselves were fine and the girls were good as gold of course but some of the tube stations do not have disabled/ pram access and so we had to rely on strangers to help with the buggy. Thankfully there are good eggs out there and we were fine but I won’t be taking Little L again any time soon! Poor mite!
We had fun though so it was worth it!
Fun at Home
We had a great week at home seeing lots of little people. Both girls shared their toys so nicely, I think going to pre-school has really helped Little G with this as she hasn’t always been so willing to share!
I have no photos of anything we did at home besides this one of Little G hoovering the car! haha!! Teach them young I say!
Time for Me
Not just for me but after our trip to London my mum picked us up from the station and Little G decided she wanted to go back to her house. My mum said she was welcome to stay for dinner and when Little L got wind of it she wanted to go too! I waved them off and rang Mr F to see if he fancied going out to dinner.
So, not just time for me but time for us, as a couple, to have dinner out on our own. We went to a new Turkish restaurant in town. It was a bit bland for my tastes but Mr F enjoyed his. It was an unexpected treat for date night so that made up for the bland food!
My Happiest Moment
I have really enjoyed chatting to other mummies this week, both friends and family get togethers have had me laughing and feeling like I need to get involved in my own life more. I have been so cocooned recently and it hasn’t been good. I need to get out of the house and see people!
Next week I would like to..
I want to go to town on one of the market days and buy some more plants for the garden!
