Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. I co-host this linky with Jenna (Tiny Footsteps) so please do remember to go over to her post and say hi! We want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciate the little things in life and have happy days.
My shout out goes to Wafflemama this week. I have known Laura since we were tiny tots and she is just the loveliest person. We got married within a few weeks of each other, had our first babies a couple of months apart and when I was reaching the end of my pregnancy with Little L she messaged me to say she had just found out she was pregnant with her little girl. Anyway, go check out her beautiful post, it is just lovely. xx
Over to my week…
Out & About
Hurrah for sunshine! We have been busy in the garden again so haven’t gone anywhere. Little G has been back at preschool and I just cannot seem to motivate myself to go anywhere when we are restricted to an afternoon. We have popped round to my mums a few times but that doesn’t really count haha! I did have an awesome time in London yesterday though, I met up with the lovely Heledd and Amy (and her lovely little girlie) and had a lovely day mingling with brands!
Fun at Home
We are doing so well with our themed weeks- I am so glad I decided to start doing them! It has been a little less full on this week activity wise with preschool, work and my day out Friday. We are going to carry on today and tomorrow though so keep an eye out for the roundup Monday. My favourite thing was our pirate island though, it was so much fun!
Time for Me
Having a day to myself on Friday was so needed, sometimes you just need time to be yourself don’t you? It felt so nice being able to go up and down escalators without worrying about buggies or children (the last time we went up an escalator Little G fell!!!).
My Happiest Moment
Little L is just like her sister in that she loves to read. She is so hilarious and reads books aloud to herself in her baby language. This week she has decided she likes to point at pages on a book and squeal in delight. She especially likes farm books, pointing at the animals. It is so lovely to watch as I love books, I love that they both love them too. Love love love love love hahaha!
Next week I would like to..
Get a bit more sleep- I have been burning the candle at both ends and it is not good for my health!

It sounds like you've had a great week Katy. Your themed weeks are amazing, the pirate island looks so fun I want to play with it too ;) I love that your girls love their books too, it sounds like Little L has a similar language to BabyBio when it comes to reading. Isn't it so blimmin cute when they point at the pages all excitedly?! Well done for having a day to yourself this week, but please do take care of yourself and catch up on some sleep when you can xxx

Sounds like you had a fab week :) completely relate to the book comments ... so cute.
I love the idea of having a themed week - selfishly it would also help me when time is short... might have to have a think about that one!
Hope you manage to get more sleep next week :)

That is exactly it, if you have a rough idea of things to do it saves so much time! x

Will have to check back tomorrow to see the rest of your pirate island - the themed weeks sounds like such a lovely idea, especially for people (like me!) who struggle to think of what activities to try.

I am always rubbish at thinking what to do. G says 'mummy what shall we do today?' and I usually say ummmmmm.... playdough? So this has helped me so much! x
