Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. I co-host this linky with the lovely Jenna (Tiny Footsteps) so please do remember to go over to her post and say hi! We want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciate the little things in life and have happy days.
Thank you to everyone who joined in this week, both Jenna and I love hearing about your weeks and are so grateful for the lovely feedback we get- inspires us to keep going!
I really enjoyed reading about Jess’ week, seeing Rosalie with that butterfly biscuit cutter made me want to do that with Little L, I have not been great at getting her involved in cooking but am definitely going to try next week! All in all just beautiful photos so go check it out. x
Out & About
I have worked 3 days again this week so it hasn’t left much time to do anything with the girls. However I had a lovely catch up with a friend on Tuesday. We went to a pub in town which has a great soft play area. We sat and chatted while the kids ran off and played. Poor Little L wanted to join in but she is just that bit too small.
We walked all the way there and back which is 4 miles in total- Little G walked the whole way even though I offered the buggyboard at times. She slept well that night!!
Fun at Home
We had such a productive day on Sunday, Mr F faffed about with the bannisters (has taken about 9 months doing them so far!) and us girls started redecorating Little G’s room. I put together an inspiration post the other week and so far we are on track to get it done! We have rejigged the layout and picked up some fab bargains that I am going to upcycle!! So excited to carry on and get it done in the next few weeks!!
The best thing we bought, without a doubt was this dolls house- £20 what a bargain!!!
Time for Me
I was lucky enough to be invited along to a HotHair blogger event on Thursday evening. I travelled into London after work, leaving the girls behind with Mr F for the evening. It was a lovely event, with hair demonstrations and competitions to enter (sorry if I spammed your twitter feed with my entries!!). I will write about it soon, but I can tell you know the hair pieces are amazing!!!
I felt a little out of my depth as everyone there was a beauty blogger (all young and gorgeous!!) but I did have a lovely chat with Zoe from Face Value Beauty Blog . She took this photo of me after I won a new bag!! Woo hoo!!
The event was held in the gorgeous Renaissance Hotel in St Pancras – inside was this famous staircase- do you recognise it?
My Happiest Moment
I have had such lovely comments on my posts this week, it has been a tough week with both girls having fevers but lovely comments really do brighten up my day. xxx
Next week I would like to…
I am meeting up with some lovely blogging friends at the zoo and I am really looking forward to having some mummy girlie time. Being at work so many days the past 2 weeks has made me realise how lucky I have been being able to stay home all this time.

Wow, well done Little G for walking four miles, I'm not surprised she slept well that night! So awesome that you have a pub with a soft play area too, it's a shame that Little L was a bit small for it but she looks like she was having a fun time anyway! I love the dolls house, what an absolute steal =) I'm dead jealous of your new bag too, what a fantastic prize! Hehe, I recognise that staircase from a Spice Girls video I think ;) Hope you enjoy your mummy girly time and the zoo xxx

Ooohh that doll's house is amazing! And such a bargain too. I can't believe your little one walked all that way ... no wonder she slept well. I'll have to try that one when mine is on the move! Thanks for hosting :) Alana x www.babyholiday.wordpress.com
