Welcome to HappyDays! If you are new then take a look here. We want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciate the little things in life and have happy days!
Jenna has been galavanting off on her hollibobs this week so won’t be about, but do keep an eye out for her Bluestone post- by the looks of her instagram she has been having a lovely week!
I just want to say sorry (again) for being late with comments this week. I have a valid excuse though as I had my birthday meal on Tuesday and then parents evening on Wednesday. Will try harder next week!! I do so enjoy your posts and they always leave me feeling uplifted. A few of you made me teary this week, you have such lovely things to say about this linky. I feel part of a kind and caring community, so thank you for being a part of it.
Jess over at Mummy to Boy Girl Twins has a shiny new header- isn’t it lovely? I love reading her blog, she has so much style I want to be a yummy mummy just like her! Her post last week was all about enjoying the nice things in life. A lovely reminder to do what makes you happy.
Ok, over to my week
Out & About
I had a lovely pre-birthday celebration with Mr F’s family on Sunday, we went for a meal in town and then back to Grandmas’s for the afternoon. They sang me happy birthday and we had a play of the Downton Abbey game I had to review. It was only us girls playing (all the boys went and played football!) and it was so nice relaxing and having a laugh. I need to take Little G to a casino- she has the magic roll! Every number we wanted she managed to get on the dice, it was a bit spooky by the end!
Tuesday was my birthday and the sun was shining. My mum picked us up just before lunch and we went to town to spend all my birthday vouchers. It was so nice spending time with her- for anyone who doesn’t know, she is on the last stretch of a divorce after my dad has gone weird and abandoned us all! She is finally seeing she can be happy without him and so can celebrate occasions without feeling sad that he isn’t there.
I got quite a few clothes- I made sure I remembered all of the advice I was given at my style course and only bought things that suited my shape and that I truly loved. My favourite shop of the day has to be H&M- so many lovely things this season. I am going to be doing a vlog about everything I bought- trying to venture back into the world of vlogging again!
Fun at Home
I worked Wednesday and Thursday, which left Friday to have fun at home. Unfortunately Little G woke up with a terrible cough and had a high temperature. So, Friday was spent on the sofa watching DVDs while L slept. I took the time to design some new buttons for my sidebar 🙂
When L was awake I joined her on the floor to play kitchens, she loves pretending to eat all the toy food and give me tea to drink! So cute!
Time for Me
I haven’t had any time to myself but I did have a lovely birthday. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, I felt really loved. xx
My Happiest Moment
This is going to sound a bit peculiar but my happiest moment has been playing a silly game in the kitchen with L. I don’t know how it started but whenever I make her bottle she joins me in the kitchen and she tries to tread on my feet- then I try and get her feet and it carries on that way. She finds it hysterical and she was laughing so much that it set me off, we were both laughing so hard that Little G came in to see what we were up to!
Next week I would like to…
I hope that Little G is better next week so we can get out and enjoy this sunshine!!
