HappyDays Linky #19

Welcome to HappyDays! I co-host this linky with Jenna (Tiny Footsteps) so please do remember to go over to her post and say hi! We want to inspire you to make the best out of every day, appreciating the little things in life and having happy days.

I am so sorry it took me so long to get around to commenting this week, I am not entirely sure where the week has gone actually! I always try to comment by Tuesday latest but it was suddenly Thursday and I realised I hadn’t done it!!

Extraordinary chaos

I really enjoyed reading about Sarah’s amazing week. It just shows that with hard work we can all reach our dreams! You are going to have a fabulous time at Disney- they are lucky to have you on board!

Ok over to my week….

Out & About

I have tried to get out and about as much as possible- not easy when germs stand in the way of course! We went to the park twice over the weekend and it was lovely. Once just around the corner to us and the other on the way to Mr F’s Grandma’s. I wrote about our trip to visit her as she had some ducks in her back garden!

Here are a few photos from our first trip though, so funny- Mr F thought it would be a good idea to take the kite. Possibly the least windy day in the history of all days. Needless to say it did not get off the ground.

Fun at Home

The week started off well despite their gunky eyes! Baby L got some lovely scarves at Christmas and they love playing with them. They like to drape them over their faces and blow- whooshing the scarves into the air. The simple things eh?scarves

Tuesday was Shrove Tuesday of course and we made a fab baked pancake! Same mixture as a normal pancake but just put it in the oven for 15 mins. Very yummy with strawberries and golden syrup!

The end of the week has not been as good, Little G is laid up on the sofa as I write this. Temperature of 38.6 which means Calpol and Nurofen on rotation. Hate seeing her so poorly 🙁

Time for Me

I had a lovely afternoon in London with the lovely Aby (You Baby Me Mummy) on Wednesday. We went to a style class and had such a great time learning how style is different to fashion. I will be posting all about it next week so keep and eye out for that! It was so nice to be able to walk up and down stairs without worrying about a buggy and to be able to to chat about clothes rather than babies! We all do it don’t we? We spend our every day with the little darlings and if we aren’t with them we talk about them!!

My Happiest Moment

I posted this post about how I have felt living in Hitchin and being seen as a young mum, back in October. I decided to re-share it on #SundayStars and got a great response, seems I am not the only one judged by my age. I had a tweet from MamaMim to say she had chosen me as her #MamaMimMention of the week! She had also left me a lovely comment and I cried- happy tears of course, always lovely to be noticed for a heartfelt piece and that hopefully your message will spread and help others who feel the same.

Next week I would like to…

Get back on Pinterest! I have neglected it for months now and it is such a good way of promoting your blog that it seems silly not to take advantage of it while getting great ideas for this, that and the other!

Those pancakes look yummy!

I love that your husband was so optimistic about the kite. Hopefully you'll manage to get it off the ground next time. :-)

It sounds like you've had a good week, although I'm sorry to hear that Little G was poorly at the end of it. I hope that she is on the mend now? The style class sounds brilliant, I have absolutely no idea how to dress myself properly so I'm very much looking forward to your post! Your photos of the girls with their scarfs are so cute, I'm loving the tops that they're both wearing in them. Have a great week hun xxx

The only time we have ever managed to get it up was on the beach- it seems to be the only place with enough wind!! x
