Wow HappyDays is a year old today! How did that happen? I have truly enjoyed hearing about everyone’s happy days this last year and so many have inspired days out with my own kids and got me to try new things. I know I have definitely made more time for myself this year and that is thanks to all of you. It is with huge sadness that I tell you the news that Jenna is stepping down as a Happy Days co-host but she promises me she will link up when she can. 🙂

I want to try something new this week and going forward, I find it difficult to write a round-up each week as quite honestly I forget what I have been doing half the time or find myself duplicating bits and bobs. So instead I am going to pick a happy moment from each week, something that stands out and needs recording to be remembered forever.

This week I have been really down in the dumps, nothing has happened to make me feel that way but I have felt myself slipping more and more into a state where I just want to go and hide. I wrote about how I felt and had such lovely messages from people that it made me feel better, so nice to have a community around you when you are a stay at home mum who barely sees a soul.

Despite my week of being a miserable so and so there was one little person who managed to make me smile no matter what. LJ is possibly the smiliest baby I have ever known and she is also the craziest! She is constantly on the go and up to mischief and she makes me laugh all. the. time!

The other day I was trying to get a shot of the two of them eating their dinner for a post I was writing and I just wanted a natural shot, no smiles or cheeses, just fly on the wall style. But oh no, LJ loves the camera and loves to pull the smiliest face possible.

All were outtakes for the post but were never destined for the reject bin as they show my precious little girl, the one whose smile lights up a room and brightens up the darkest of days. She is my rainbow baby and the light of my life.
