Welcome to HappyDays! The idea of this linky is to inspire others to make the best out of every day, to see the happy in the little things. As no matter what, there is always something good in every single day- we just need to take the time to see it. Share your happy posts, Sian and I love to read them!
Hurrah for the school holidays! I am SO SO excited I cannot tell you! No more rushed mornings, no more dashing up the hill between the two schools and no more routines. Now I won’t lie, I will be missing the routine come the end of the 6 weeks, but for now I am happy to have both my girlies home with me every day.
It has been a busy week, for one reason or another and so I am pretty exhausted. Thursday was my tidying day and this week was the playroom – so many toys it is beyond a joke! I have been ruthless and it is looking so much better already. The process of decluttering our home has been so draining but I know it is worth it and I will have a home to be proud of by the end.
So what has kept me smiling this week?
– Writing out our bucket list. I don’t want to waste the next 6 weeks so have made a list of simple things to do to make sure we have a summer to remember. I have had requests to share it so will write it up this weekend if you want to keep an eye out for that.
– The Ritz. Oh it was amazing!! Such a beautiful building and the best food. The staff were so accommodating too, nothing was too much for them.

– New clothes. I was a bit miserable at the start of the week as I went shopping and came home empty handed. But, I popped into Next yesterday and bought a few things in the sale.
– Future holidays. I have booked a ferry to go to France in October half to see my gorgeous friend Aby from You Baby Me Mummy. She’s moved out there for 5 years and I miss her already!
– Wills dancing. I am not sure I have seen anything cuter! Doesn’t matter what music it is, from trance to nursery rhymes, he jiggles along and loves it!
– Picnic in the park. We went out with some of the mums and children from Reception to mark the end of the school year. There are lots of siblings so Lils was able to join in too – so lovely seeing them all playing happily and Wills was just happy playing with his football.
That’s it for this week I think, I am just in the best mood for being on the 6 week holidays now and am off to get myself a glass of Baileys to celebrate!
Have a great weekend whatever you are up to!
