How is it the 1st of July? Someone please explain how this year is going so fast? Term is nearly ending here and then it will be 6 weeks of fun! Hurrah! I long for the summer holidays every year, as I child I loved them, as a teacher I loved them and now as a mum I love them! Always very jealous of those who have 10 weeks!!
What has been making me smile this week?
– Evening strolls. We threw bedtime out of the window on Sunday night and went for a walk in the evening sun – it was lovely!
– Reaching 2k subs. I actually did it!! As a marker for the event I am going to film an ‘ask me anything’ vlog, so if you have any questions then pop them in the comments.
– Green paint. If you follow my Insta Stories you’ll have seen I bought some tester pots for the living room. I am going green!
– New floor. Our bathroom floor had chipped and ripped due to poor fitting (not mentioning any names…. Mr F……) previously. We saved up enough money to get it fitted properly and the fitters came yesterday – I love it!
– New bed. We have been saving up for what seems like forever for a new bed and we finally ordered it! With 3 children clambering into your double bed, it doesn’t leave much room for you! We have gone for a super king and I am SO excited!!
– Kind words. A blogging friend messaged me to say she loved how my blog was looking right now and it really made my day. When you put your heart and soul into something and someone pays it a compliment, it just means so much.

Oh my gosh a super king bed - I would love one. We tried a queen sized bed in the bed shop which we loved but sadly we wouldn't get one up our stairs let alone fit it in our bedroom. So jealous. Enjoy x
