Diva Pro Chromatix Range Review

Whenever I go to the hairdressers I always come away with gorgeous hair but I am never able to recreate the same look at home and it always frustrates me! I have a love hate relationship with my hair – it loves to be frizzy and I hate frizz!

When I was asked to try the Chromatix range by Diva I was very excited! They are a British, family run business based in London and are home to many multi-award winning products! Their range is used in the top salons and also on the sets of some high profile films and TV programmes. If they can’t give me salon results then nobody can!

I was sent the Chromatix Dynamica 3400 Pro and the Chromatix Intelligent Styler, both in Raspberry Crush. There are other colours to choose from but I am pink through and through.

The Dynamica 3400 Pro

My first impression of the hairdryer is that it is lightweight and very quiet. It has variable heat and speed settings as well as a ‘cool shot’ button. When I was using it I did feel as though it wasn’t very powerful but I think actually it was just the fact it was so quiet.

My hair was dried in record quick time, that really impressed me as I have really thick hair and it usually takes ages! This is most probably down the fact it is an ionic drier- emitting negative ions which divide the water particles in two. Ionic technology also boasts smoother and healthier hair and I have to admit I have found this to be true in my case, it does always feel great despite the fact I have just blasted it with hot air! I have never believed the hype but the results speak for themselves!

The Dynamica 3400 Pro gets a big thumbs up from me! So, if you are looking to buy a new hairdryer then I can definitely recommend it!

The Intelligent Digital Styler

I always straighten my hair, it makes me feel so much better about myself! The straighteners I have been using for the past few years are not good at all and so I was very keen to get my hands on these!

DSC_0015They too are lightweight and have a 3 meter salon swivel cord which is great- no getting tangled! Something I really like about them is the fact they have a power light as well as an ‘on’ light. This reminds me to unplug them if I see the light is still on (not that you have to unplug them but I do with little people around!). They also turn themselves off after 10 minutes which is fab- something that will put every single woman’s mind at ease!!

They are so great to use, the ceramic plates are infused with argon oil and glide through the hair. You actually feel as though you are conditioning your hair as you straighten! The temperature can be set from 120ºC to 220ºC by the click of a + and – button and they heat up incredibly quickly- 10 seconds to get to 110ºC and 30 seconds to 180ºC.

I put the Intelligent Digital Styler to the test by curling my hair for a night out! As you can see, they do a fab job! Another thumbs up from me!

I was sent these products in return for my honest opinion. All words and thoughts are my own.

I need to master making my hair look good. We had straighteners but they were stolen so maybe I need to invest in some more as well as a good hair dryer. Nice video! Angela xx

I'm desperately looking for a good travel hairdryer and looking for info on the Dynamica I found your site. My problem that I am a permanent nomad and have to fit my entire life into a 20-23kg suitcase, so as you can imagine every gram counts!! I can't for the life of me find any information on the weight of the dryer anywhere, including the manufacturer's website. How mad is that! So if any of you ladies owns one and wouldn't mind popping it onto your kitchen scales for me and let me know how heavy it is, cord and all, I'd be extremely grateful!!! Thanks a bunch in advance!!
