Christmas Gift Guide- Ideas for Mum

The Christmas season is upon us and the shops are bursting with different gifts. I don’t know about you but my mind starts to boggle and I never know what to get for people! I thought I would compile a a Christmas gift guides to help you find the perfect gift for those important people in your life, starting with ideas for mum (or any other lady in your life!)

ideas for mum

As a mother of two I know exactly what mums want- sleep! Ok, you can’t exactly wrap that up so here are a few alternatives that will help that lovely lady in your life feel special this Christmas!

  • The best thing I could get this Christmas is a planner! Did you ever love the beginning of the school term, getting your new stationary? This planner from Organised Mum was recommended to me and I think it looks great!

  • It is a tradition in my family that you get a new pair of pyjamas every Christmas. I really like these white Robin print ones from New Look- 100% cotton, very cosy!

  • Keeping your skin nourished makes you feel better in yourself. This gorgeous Rich and Creamy Cocoa Butter gift set* from Avon smells as good as it sounds. Every woman wants to have super soft skin and so this would make the perfect present!

  • Every woman loves perfume! I am a little bit obsessed with pretty bottles and have had my eye on StormFlower by Cheryl* for a while. It has a fruity, floral scent combined with luscious mandarin, nectarine and delicate freesia and peach blossom. Gorgeous!

Stormflower Cheryl ColeStormFlower £23.95 at Lloyds Pharmacy and is also available as a gift set.

  • Jewellery is always a winner and this beautiful necklace comes with an extra special meaning. The ‘Memory Pendant’ has been created by Argos and the Alzheimer’s Society, Alzheimer Scotland and The Alzheimer Society of Ireland. The reverse of the pendant reads ‘The best thing about memories is making them’ which is just so lovely. This is definitely on my list!

All profits from the sale of each pendant (priced at £22.99) will go towards helping people living with dementia stay in their own homes and be part of community life for longer.

  • Vaseline is one of my favourite products and I have so many of the little pots here and there. Their giant pots send me a bit giddy- I am not sure why but oversized products are just so much fun! This giant retro pink lip tin gift set* is just so cute!

  • I have wanted a foot spa for years! The idea of soaking my aching feet with some essential oils sounds like bliss! The aromatherapy foot spa* is designed by Elle Macpherson and is the perfect gift for any special lady in your life!
