This is the second in my Christmas gift guide series. If you missed my ideas for mum post then head on over to see if there are some ideas for the special ladies in your life.
Hands up, who finds it difficult to buy for men? Yep, me too! I always struggled buying for my own Dad and now I have the same trouble finding for my husband. Socks or ties anyone?
So, with that in mind I have compiled this list of gift ideas to give you a bit of inspiration this Christmas! From Christmas whisky to a new pair of socks – there is something for everyone.
- Many men enjoy a bit of DIY and so they need the tools for the job! I am buying Mr F the Bosch cordless screwdriver for Christmas as he has been asking for it for a while now! So much easier to press a button and let a machine do the job!
£29.99 at Amazon
- After all their hard work they will need a massage! The Scholl Energy Percussion Massager* is perfect for when you have had a hard day at work. It has different attachments and can be used to prepare your body before a workout and help relax afterwards too! Mr F goes to the gym every day and so this is perfect for him, especially with the infrared attachement helping to soothe those aching muscles.
RRP 39.99, available from Debenhams, Argos, Amazon
- Men need to look after themselves in the beauty department just as much as women and so what better present than this hair wax from Black and White*. This product has been around for years and celebrities such as Johnny Depp, Robert Pattinson, Elvis and James Dean are fans!
Available at Boots, Superdrug, Sainsbury’s and Tesco £4.99
- Looking for a stocking filler? This Scotch Magic tape dispenser is great for a football fan to have sitting on his desk at work. It comes with magic tape too which looks almost invisible once placed on paper and can also be written on so perfect for labelling!
available from www.3mdirect.co.uk RRP of £8.99
- Does he love going to concerts? Or Does he have old tickets lying around that remind him of a gig he went to years ago? TicketCoaster* offer a brilliant idea for a personalised Christmas gift. You send off a ticket of your choice and they turn it into a coaster- preserving the memory forever!
Available at www.ticketcoaster.com for £6 per coaster.
- Mr F loves gadgets and music so this next gift idea combines the two. I love this and would want it for myself actually! The Jam Rewind wireless pocket speaker* is fantastic! It works by connecting to your phone via bluetooth and considering it is so compact the sound quality is amazing!
Available for £74.99 from Amazon
- I love a man who smells good, Mr F has been a fan of the David Beckham range for a while- he wore it on our wedding day so it always brings back happy memories when I smell it. David Beckham’s Instinct Sport Gift Set* is the perfect treat and will leave your man smelling gorgeous!
The set features 150ml body spray, 200ml hair and body wash and is priced £4.99
- I don’t know about your household but daddy is Mr Fix it in ours! Sugru* is a hand mouldable glue. It feels a bit like playdough but works like superglue. It can be used to repair all manner of materials and is available in different colours to match up with different toys!

The limited edition festive tins are priced at £9.99 and available exclusively at sugru.com.
- Does he have everything already? Why not give a gift to charity in their name? ‘Send a Cow’ is an organisation set up to help poverty stricken families in Africa. Here is a link to the website, which showcases Send a Cow’s gifts: www.sendacowgifts.org.uk
Send a cow-£205, a hen-£7, educate a child-£30, send a Tap-£10
- And of course… you cannot forget socks! What is it about men and socks? I throw so many away with holes in them! I always get Mr F some novelty socks and these Santa ones from The Sock Shop are cute!
Available from The Sock Shop for £3
I hope this gift guide gives you a few ideas for Christmas presents for the man in your life. Come back tomorrow to see what is in my kids’ gift guide.
