Celebrating National Sister Day with BABY Born

Do you have a sister? The first Sunday of August is always National Sister Day so why not show her some love!

I always wanted a sister, I think it broke my mum’s heart for the 8 years that she couldn’t make that wish come true. But in 1992 my wish was granted, when my baby sister was born and made our family complete. Thankfully my girls didn’t have to wait so long to become sisters, with Lils being born just over 2 years after Gracie. They are so close and I am so glad that they have each other, just as I have my sister.

Today is National Sister Day, a day to celebrate sisters everywhere. If you don’t have a sister then don’t worry – celebrate the love you have for friends and other women in your sisterhood. I have so many lovely ladies in my life that I love like sisters!!

Why are sisters special?

I thought it would be fun to ask my girls what it is that they love about having a sister. Here is what they said:

It is fun having Lils to play with.

It wouldn’t be as fun if she wasn’t here.

I like having sleepovers with Gracie.

It is more fun having a sister as you have someone to play with always.

To celebrate National Sister Day, I have a gorgeous BABY Born Sister Doll to give away – she is so cute, the girls just love her!

She comes with lots of accessories, hair clips, hair bobbles and a hair brush just like the girls use on their hair. Her clothes are also fully interchangeable with other BABY Born dolls which is great, the girls love dressing her in different outfits.

As with other BABY Born dolls, she can be given water in a bottle and if you squeeze her arm she will cry real tears.

She also comes with a cute little bracelet for her to wear and there’s a matching one for your little one to wear too – so sweet!

If you’d like to be in with the chance of winning a doll for your little one then all you have to do is complete the widget below. Good luck!
